I was very fortunate to have a 22 year professional football career, playing for clubs such as Manchester United, Celtic and Aston Villa (to name a few). Whilst playing football, I started to acquire a variety of properties… buying, selling and building my rental portfolio. This was the start of my passion for property.

I am currently a television presenter, a football pundit and a Co Commentator at live matches.

Having accomplished the above, my interest in property is still as alive and strong as ever. I’m thrilled and excited to be a part of the team behind this exciting new venture; Lot 9 Auction House.

I studied Business Studies at John Moore’s university before working as a HR and business development manager for 3 years at a construction firm on the Wirral. I then went on to do a Masters degree in management consulting and unfortunately was made redundant during the 2008 recession. I have always been interested in property as my Dad was a plasterer and he was always tinkering with and renovating our family home.

I bought my first house ( a 2 up 2 down terrace do’er upper) at 21. I loved restoring the original features and returning the property back to it’s former glory. I have bought and sold many houses since gaining valuable knowledge along the way.

I decided on a slight career change during the recession which fulfilled my dream of becoming an Air hostess with Virgin Atlantic, I loved travelling the world and experiencing different foods, languages and cultures. 1 year turned into 8… Eventually leaving to concentrate on project managing a large build, building a buy to let portfolio, charity work & last but certainly not least…becoming a mum!

I first discovered my passion for property at the age of 20 whilst bidding at a London auction for a run down terraced house. I soon realised that I had an eye for  visualisation and bringing a property new life, after completing the renovation myself, and then being fortunate enough to sell it so quickly with a substantial profit, I knew this was the career path for me. It would be fair to say I was hooked.

Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience from creating forever homes for my clients and developing my own multi million pound high end developments from period renovation to new builds. I thrive on project management and structural challenges from the initial concept to completion and seeing my creations on the landscape.

After 20 years in the game of buying and selling numerous properties residential , commercial and land, I must have made some of the local estate agents rather wealthy. With this is mind I wanted better service for my own portfolio so I teamed up with Simon Evans to create our own estate agents with a new approach to selling properties. We had a phenomenal start and saw an opportunity to franchise our business model and now have multiple branches across the North West of England and Wales.

My personal interests are very much design and architecture, travelling and a lust for petrol. I studied engineering and that initiated my passion for cars, boats and navigation.

Having made the decision to leave school at 16, I started working as a trainee estate agent. I became the youngest ever qualified estate agent before opening my first estate agency at 18 years old!

I sold this firm 12 months later before opening my current agency Monopoly Buy Sell Rent in 2013. We quickly became the second biggest agent in the area and a multi award winning firm. We decided in 2017 that due to our success to sell Franchises. We now have several Franchisees covering the North West & North Wales.

On a personal level I was lucky enough to have been awarded the Welsh Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019 at an awards ceremony in Cardiff.
